Bennelong's Property Funds Management team currently manages:
- the Bennelong Real Estate Equity Fund, with properties located in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane; and
- the Bennelong Real Estate Value Fund, which focuses on value add opportunities in Sydney and Melbourne.
History
Formed in August 2001, the Bennelong Property Funds Management (PFM) team is focused on managing commercial property assets outside the central business districts of Australia's eastern state capitals.
Active management, coupled with a focus on maximising tenant satisfaction and retention through the provision of quality accommodation, continue to cement Bennelong as a premier property fund manager of suburban commercial property in Australia.
Management philosophy
The team's active management philosophy aims to ensure maximum tenant retention through the provision of properties that continue to meet tenants' satisfaction and business needs. This has resulted in high occupancy levels throughout the portfolio and consistently growing returns.
This philosophy of proactive tenant management has also been promoted to all outsourced service providers as a key part of their agreements with the funds, and is the driver of all capital expenditure and programmed maintenance across both portfolios.
